On 1st March 2017, in Da Nang, Pham Van Dong University (PDU) had a meeting and signed a MoU with National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences (KUAS).
At the meeting, on behalf of PDU, Dr. Tran Dinh Tham, Vice Rector, sent best wishes to KUAS delegation led Prof. Dr. Te-Hua Fang, Deputy Director of Institute of Development Studies, KUAS. Dr. Tran Dinh Tham also hoped to cooperate in both education and academic research with KUAS.
On behalf of KUAS, Prof. Dr. Te-Hua Fang expressed joy and highly appreciated possibilities of cooperation between KUAS and PDU.
The reprsentatives of PDU and KUAS discussed and signed the MoU, including: (1) Exchange of scholars and researchers; (2) Coordination of activities such as joint research, lectures, and symposia (3) Exchange of data, documentation, and research materials in fields of mutual interest; (4) Exchange of students; (5) Cooperation of dual degree program. KUAS will also provide doctoral and post-doctoral scholarships for PDU candidates.
This signing ceremony was the beginning of the process of cooperation between KUAS and PDU and the basis for specific cooperation plans in the coming time.
