On 14th October 2016 Pham Van Dong University held a solemn Opening Ceremony of the New Academic Year 2016-2017.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of the University has acknowledged and praised the PDU teachers and students’ results achieved during the past school year.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Dang Phuoc has congratulated students were admitted to the University and looked forward to the freshmen and the whole PDU students continue their efforts in learning, scientific research and training to be good students in order to serve effectively to the socio-economic development of the province and the country.
In the joy of the new academic year, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Dang Phuoc called for further consensus, cooperation and solidarity of all PDU officials and staff and making every effort to implement successfully the tasks of this academic year.
At the ceremony, PDU leaders awarded certificates of merit and awards for some classes and students with excellent achievement in academic year 2015-2016; PDU leaders also rewarded 02 freshmen with the highest score in the university entrance exam 2016.
