In order to implement the Cooperation Agreement between VNU-HCM and Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee (from 2016 to 2020), on 1st August 2016, the delegation from PDU led by Dr. Tran Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Dang Phuoc, Party Secretary, Rector of PDU and members of the delegation visited and had a meeting with the VNU-HCM.
The delegation from PDU was received by Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, Deputy Director of VNU-HCM, leaders of VNU-HCM’s Departments, Boards of International Relations, Board of Training Undergraduate and Postgraduate, Board of Personnel Organization, Board of Science and Technology, representatives of Board of Management of University of Science and Technology, University of Sciences, University of Economics and Law belong to VNU-HCM.
At the meeting, the leaders of both sides had a comprehensive assessment of the results of cooperation between PDU and VNU-HCM in recent years and discussed cooperation plans in the future with the content of the training and fostering of managerial staff, faculty, advanced training programs, exchange of experience, scientific research and joint training activities as well.
Both sides have concretized the signed contents on The Cooperation Agreement to promote the role of community service of VNU-HCM to support in solving problems of training and developing human resources, science research, and transferring technology to serve the socio - economical development of Quang Ngai province and the Central Highland, and to promote Pham Van Dong University to become "special member" of VNU-HCM.
