On December 19th 2015, Youth members of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCM CYU) of Faculty of Engineering Technology, HCM CYU of PDU Divisions and Centers and “Young Vitality” Club organized a charity trip named “Warm Winter and Supporting to school” to visit several families with special difficulties and poor pupils in Tra Lanh commune, Tay Tra district, Quang Ngai province. This commune is one of the most difficult communes in all aspects, most residents are ethnic minorities such as Kor, Kdong.
The youth members awarded 75 gifts, 50 jackets, and 10 crates of books and clothes. They cooked lunch for 250 poor students as well. The entire budget for the trip (VND 28 million) was contributed by youth members of HCM CYU of Faculty of Engineering Technology, HCM CYU of PDU Divisions and Centers, “Young Vitality” Club and sponsors. In addition, Thong Nhat Transport Cooperative, Dai Hoang Phat Coffee Company Ltd. also funded transports for the trip.
