In the morning of January 16th, 2016, the Executive Committee of PDU Students’ Association visited and donated over 12 million VND for Nguyen Tran Nhat Hau, the student from Faculty of Engineering Technology who got internal dengue, septicemia. The donation mobilized by the contribution of PDU students, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dung Quat Vocational Engineering and Technology College and 20-year-old flames Club in Mo Duc district.
Then, PDU Students’ Association in cooperation with Son Trung Commune People's Committee successfully held a Music and Dance performance “Spring and Love” for raising scholarship fund for poor students’ in Son Trung commune, Son Ha district.
After nearly a month of preparation, the training efforts for the entertainment show and calling for funding, the Youth Volunteer Club V-FREE affiliated PDU Students' Union, the entertainment shows was held successfully. PDU Students’ Association has awarded 15 scholarships worth VND 300,000 per each for students with difficult situations, 140 Tet gifts for poor households and students in Son Trung commune with the total value of over VND 50 million. Specially, at the entertainment show, sponsors in the commune donated VND 15,58 million for scholarship fund for poor students in Son Trung commune, Son Ha district.
