With the desire to offer intellectual and emotional contribution to build up Quang Ngai homeland, Chairman of Quang Ngai Teacher's Club in Da Nang proposed to create a forum with the aim to exchange ideas and suggestions around the topic of social and economic development of Quang Ngai Province.
The desire of the-living-far-away-from-homeland people is shared and enthusiastically welcomed by leaders of Pham Van Dong University (PDU). The Club’s chairman and PDU leaders agreed to jointly organize a broader forum to receive more ideas and suggestions on the development of the province.
That desire of dedicated people for Quang Ngai has been praised by the Standing Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee and agreed to organize the Conference.
The Conference Organizing Committee received 39 presentations and all of them were recorded in the 300-page proceedings. In addition to the presentations, many enthusiastic suggestions exchanged during meetings, discussions in and out the Conference of more than 120 delegates including teachers of Quang Ngai Teachers' Club in Da Nang and Pham Van Dong University are invaluable gifts for Quang Ngai province. It can be affirmed that this conference is an important event that expresses the 'homeland spirit' of the Quang Ngai people; it is also an event acknowledging the progressive spirit of the Leaders of Party Committee, Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee to the desire to build up and develop the province.
